HOW TO USE THE FORM LETTERS.

Use these form letters to write Alderman Mary Ann Smith and voice your opposition to The Andrew. Here's how:

  1. The form letters are in Microsoft® Word® format (.doc). You can use them on any PC or Mac that has Microsoft Word installed.
  2. Choose the letter you like best and click the link to open it. Use Word's "File>Save As" command to save it to your hard drive and give it a name.
  3. Make the necessary modifications to the letter (e.g., insert your address, today's date, and name where indicated) by simply typing over the placeholders.
  4. Save the letter again ("File>Save") and then print, sign, and mail it.

Of course, you can also modify either letter in any way you like. Feel free to use them as a starting point to tell Alderman Smith how you really feel about this important issue.
